C 6962
The C-6962 series regulating valve is a combination of a labyrinth valve trim and ahigh-capacity sleeve valve trim. lts main features incude:
For small flow rates and low valve openings, a labyrinth valve trim is used toeliminate cavitation
For high flow rates and high openings, a large-capacity sleeve is used to ensureflow capacity
The radial flow cross-sectional area expansion design limits both the pressure difference in the last stage (where cavitation is highly prone to occur) and the pressure difference in the first stage.
The gradual decrease in pressure drop stages from the bottom to the top of the stack results in an incremental increase in Cv value with increasing opening. This designis suitable for low pressure drop characteristics with high flow rates, which are typically found in boiler feedwater regulation applications, where anti-cavitation control is usually required to not exceed 20%-30% of the flow rate.
The stack disks are welded together to form a sturdy unit, with a built-in sleeve ensuring better guidance of the valve core and control of the guide clearance.
The end of the valve core near the valve seat surface features a multi-stage cascadeflow control (CCF), which provides excellent pressure distribution in the flow passage gap between the valve core and the sleeve. It also prevents damage to thevalve seat and guide surface.
The C-6962 series regulating valve has two design methods for its internal component to prevent blockage caused by impurity-containing fluids (multilevel valve internals are usually not suitable for use with fluids containing impurities):
A filter is installed on the valve seat, and its filter mesh size meets the requirements of the valve trim's flow passage.
The parallel distribution of multi-level valve internals and the design of single-level areas capable of regulating more than 80% of the maximum flow rate (insensitive to blockage).
